Let's talk a bit about multimedia software? What is your favourite?
For years, I've used WinAmp for mp3s, BS Player for films and PowerDVD for DVDs. But, it was too much for my antique machine. And, come on, 3 different programs for such a thing? No way.
A friend recommended me Foobar. This is a very light and simple media player, that makes a convenient list of the mp3s and has a handful of options like FLAC support, total time played. I use it since then and I'm really pleased to have it.
For any kind of films (avi, mpg, DVD and so on) I use KM Player. Very light and stylish, has a number of features and yet is so easy to use.
Another good media player is GOM Player. I don't use it, despite its advantages, it has an ENORMOUS disadvantage - reminds me of my ex

Btw, the software, listed up there, is free to use and won't cost you a dime. Nice, eh?

Video Lan Card (VLC ) player is the only player that works in every operating system no matter it is windows , mac or linux . BS player is also nice. For audio FOOBAR is very suitable since its very lite and easy to create many playlists not degrading system performance .

I PREFER VLC PLAYER, BECAUSE IT CAN BE USED FOR PLAYING ANY KIND OF VIDEO FORMAT. AND FOR AUDIO I LIKE WINAMP AND JETAUDIO.

Klite Mega Codec Pack

For Audio(songs etc) i use the new winamp.. the interface (embedded with a library) rocks

I am using Power DVD for movies and Jet Audio for mp3.

the best audio player is jet audio, it offers reverb,3D and surround effects....
the best video player is media player classic, it is free and play almost all types of files......check it...`

i using mplayer,a audio and video player from Linux，also run well in XP `

I use to use winamp ages ago, but then i don't know how, i changed to itunes, probably when i got my ipod and all i like itunes it's fine and all`
